With the drums of war being beaten in Washington, the economy in tatters and about to collapse and a government which is not representative of the people and only serves the interests of banks and corporations, the American people are coming to a point where they are ready to stand up and revolt.
The Million Mask March has come and gone but the organizers are saying that it was a success and that it is possible that worldwide the event had pulled together over a million people in protests against political corruption and government illegality. The event sought to pull people from their on-line groups into real tangible protests in the streets of cities around the world. The Voice of Russia spoke to Christine Ann Sands, the chief organizer of the event which sought to bring together members and supporters of the Anonymous Hacktivist collective, supporters of WikiLeaks and truth seekers from all walks of life, in a massive peaceful protest.
The Million Mask March was a worldwide event and, according to various sources, it did manage to pull together close to a million people all over the globe. During the event things got tense and although there were provocateurs who did try to turn the peaceful event into a clash with police, Anonymous and all of the Anons who turned out remained peaceful, united and made their voices heard. One of the principal organizers of the event, Christine Ann Sands, spoke to the Voice of Russia before, after, and during the event which she summed up as a success for Anonymous and for the people.

Millions of people to gather in Washington to support Anonymous, WikiLeaks, Pirate Party, Occupy and others
November 5 will see a peaceful non-violent event at the Washington National Monument to help bring about awareness of political corruption and encourage government transparency. The Million Mask March will be a global event covering over 400 locations around the world to affirm peace, justice, privacy, democracy and freedom. Participants are encouraged but not obliged to wear masks. The Voice of Russia spoke to Andrew Kreig, one of the speakers at the march and an author of the book Presidential Puppetry: Obama, Romney and Their Masters. Mr. Kreig says that justice and transparency have long been compromised in the US because every recent president, since Jimmy Carter, has had a secret intelligence or FBI relationship before entering politics.
On the eve of the Nov. 5th Million Mask March global event there are efforts to disrupt it. The newly-emerged rogue breakaway "Citizen's Action" group has declared it is planning to "arrest" the United States President, Congress and US Supreme Court justices on criminal charges. Citizen's Action, now being disowned by members of the Anonymous movement, says they intend to hold Obama et al, "without bond until a full independent investigation and trial have been completed," adding that they "must re-elect our government within 90 days in order to stave off unrest." In an exclusive interview for the Voice of Russia Andrew Kreig, an Yale Law graduate and a legal reform advocate and the Director of the Justice and Integrity Project, is to talk about the upcoming march and its implications for the future of the US power system.
