US bracing for Iran. And how about Israel?

The relations between Iran and the US seem to be expanding at a pace anyone could hardly imagine. At the end of the week President Obama and President Rouhani had a telephone conversation, and Monday US Secretary of State John Kerry said the nuclear deal could be achieved in a relatively short term. Meanwhile Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu paid a three-day visit to the US, to try to offset Mr. Rouhani’s “charm offensive” by stressing that Iran must be judged by its actions, not words.

Is Washington listening to Israel? And how could the newly forming relationship affect the positions of Israel and the regional balance of forces?
