Vega carrier rocket's launch from Kourou spaceport postponed

The launch of the Vega carrier rocket from the Kourou spaceport in French Guiana has been postponed due to strong wind, an official with Arianespace said Saturday.

He added that the decision on the date of the next launch would be taken later on Saturday.

The Vega was to bring into orbit the first satellite of Estonia, Vietnam’s research satellite developed by the French space experts and the European Space Agency’s vehicle for remote earth sensing.
