Five killed in Baghdad blasts
At least five people died in a spate of blasts in east Baghdad earlier today, while more than 30 others were injured.
According to the Iraqi law enforcement agencies, three bombs went off in a busy marketplace, in a Shiite quarter of the city.
It is usually Al-Qaeda units or terrorist groups that are involved with Al-Qaeda that launch attacks against Shiites.
However, no one has yet claimed responsibility for today’s attacks. According to human rights activists, violence levels have largely decreased in Iraq over the past year, but explosions still resound almost on a daily basis.
