Scientists capture photon

Scientists from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have succeeded in taking the first ever photographic picture of a photon of light. Using a super-speed camera which can take 1 trillion photos per second, scientists photographed laser-emitted light on a tomato surface that spread in waves.

Using a super-speed camera which can take 1 trillion photos per second, scientists photographed laser-emitted light on a tomato surface that spread in waves.

According to Einstein, a photon of light, or an elementary particle, has the highest speed in the Universe – a bit less than 300 million meters per second.
