South Ossetia, in the Kavkas Republic, has found itself totally cut off from Russia due to heavy snowfall on the Transcaucasian Highway and the South End of the Russian Tunnel. According the Emergency Situations Ministry of North Ossetia, all transportation along the route was stopped due to a request by colleagues in the south because travel through the Rokskim Tunnel is impossible due to the heavy snow.
