North Korea Calls on UN to Condemn ‘Cruel’ US Torture Methods
MOSCOW, December 14 (Sputnik) — A US citizen Arturo Pierre Martinez, who allegedly illegally entered North Korea, slammed Washington's political system and foreign policy at a press conference in Pyongyang on Sunday, CNN reported.

"The illegal war carried out against the nation of Iraq serves as a perfect example of how the US government acts much like a Mafia enterprise, but criminally plundering entire nations of their resources, strategic reserves and economies instead of smaller scale business and individuals, and does so without a code of ethics," Martinez said as quoted by the CNN.

Martinez, 29, also criticized the US electoral system, which he claimed benefits only the wealthy people. In addition, he talked about the unfair portrayal of North Korea by western media sources.

The North Korean government slammed the United States on Sunday, claiming contingency plans to shuttle American forces stationed in Japan to the Korean Peninsula in the event of war a sign of Washington's ambitions to invade the country.
