15:35 GMT 07.12.2016 (Updated: 21:15 GMT 19.10.2022) A new thief was caught red-handed in Seattle, Washington, US. A naughty little squirrel attacked a house decorated for Christmas and helped itself to a whole lot of the 150 colorful bulbs.
Margaret Rican, whose home was targeted by the nimble rodent, caught the culprit on video.
Dubbed the "bulb bandit," the squirrel stole 150 Christmas lights from Rican's outdoor decorations within 24 hours. To steal that amount of bulbs, carefully and precisely chewing them off the wires one by one was an incredible task!

"He's the hardest working rodent we've ever seen," Margaret wrote in a caption to one of the videos published on YouTube. The squirrel supposedly took the bulbs for food and stashed them in Rican's and their neighbors' yards.
The little bandit is also remarkably good at quick getaways: just have a look at its skillful flying leap!
However, it seems like the Grinch-like creature didn't ruin anyone's Christmas mood. The "bulb bandit" only caused a lot of warm smiles and a little trouble regarding Christmas lights for the Rican family.
