Scaring the Wits Out: Terrifying Japanese Ghost Joins Instagram (PHOTOS)

The pale-faced female ghost with black circles under her eyes was the main antagonist of the classic Japanese horror film The Grudge: Ju-on. Now she is lurking for new victims on Instagram.

In the movie Kayako Saeki was a vengeful spirit who killed any unexpected visitors that came into her cursed house.

The ghost’s Instagram is exciting and even a little funny despite the fact that some photos are quite haunting!

According to Saeki’s Instagram page, murder is not her only passion. Among other things, she is also a devoted mother to her ghost son Toshio.

Some of the photos show the “happy” family eating toast for breakfast, walking at the playground and engaging in other interesting things that are not so typical for ghosts. These photos portray a kind motherly side of Saeki with her dearest son, Toshio.

According to the publication The Verge, the Instagram account is part of a promotion campaign for the upcoming movie, The Ring vs. The Grudge. The film is due to hit theaters in Japan next month.
