Turkish media shared an image of the country's future president in his army uniform. The photograph, in which Erdogan (top left) can be seen together with his fellow servicemen, was snapped in 1982 in Tuzla, a municipality in the province of Istanbul.
According to local news outlets, current Commander-in-chief Recep Tayyip Erdogan completed his military service as a reserve officer with the Istanbul Hasdal 77th Infantry Unit, after his training at the Tuzla Infantry School.
