Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and leader of Ukraine’s Radical Party Oleh Lyashko challenged each other to sing the Ukrainian national anthem.

Poroshenko and Lyashko keep jabbing at each other. This time, the pair locked horns during a session called for Constitutional amendments in the main hall of the Ukrainian Parliament.

While delivering his speech from the rostrum, Lyashko, known for his loud-mouth and eccentric antics, started to call on other parliamentarians' patriotism. To test their love for the country, Lyashko began singing the national anthem out loud, telling others to join in. Parliamentarians began to sing in chorus. At that time, Lyashko looked at Poroshenko and started to swing his hands, as if conducting a choir.

The challenge was accepted. When it was Poroshenko's turn to get on the rostrum and deliver his speech, the president showcased his vocal "talent," trying to sing the anthem. He would have butchered the song, but luckily other parliamentarians joined in and sang the national anthem in chorus all over again.

So who ended up winning the song contest at the Verkhovna Rada? You decide.

To be honest though, the Ukrainian government should be worried about much more important things than singing the national anthem together during parliamentary sessions, as things are getting hot on the streets of Ukrainian cities amid the standoff between the government and the Neo-Nazi radical group Right Sector.

On Wednesday, the extremist group said Poroshenko won't be able to flee from the country in the event of a coup, as did his predecessor Viktor Yanukovych in February of 2014. Artem Skoropadsky, the press secretary of the Right Sector, warned that Ukrainian nationalists will execute Poroshenko and his supporters in a dark basement.
