Bothered by the hassle of having to store their porn on hard drives, two British submarine crewmen have reportedly asked Prime Minister Theresa May to lend them a hand.

Attending May’s reception for LGBTQ community members at the Downing Street garden, the two officials managed to grab the prime minister’s attention in hopes of talking about improving day-to-day life on the undersea vessels, according to The Times of London.

"We can certainly look into improving," May responded to their inquiry about solving the issue of poor internet accessibility.

"The problem is we can’t download any porn, we have to take it with us on our hard drives," one of the submarine crewmen complained, according to The Times.

Taken aback by their reasoning, May shuffled on, leaving behind an air of uncertainty as to the fate of their requests.

Meanwhile, US military men and women don’t exactly have the same problem, as the Pentagon has its own board overseeing such concerns.

According to Business Insider, the Department of Defense has a board comprising both military and civilian officials, who select approved material for online viewing, as hardcore pornography is deemed illegal to sell or rent on military bases.

The board determines whether content presents nudity in a “lascivious” manner, the Insider reported. As of late, however, critics have lambasted the board as a waste of resources, as it costs the government $5,500 per year.

The UK hopes to build an age verification system for pornography by April 2018, to keep teens and children from viewing sexually explicit images, but only time will tell whether these lonely sailors will be able to get their happy endings in a more convenient manner.
