A new picture of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has "shaken up the Internet," German newspaper Die Welt reported.

The image taken three years ago and found by Internet users on Twitter went viral on social networks.

The photo depicts Trudeau doing a very difficult sports exercise, known in yoga as a "peacock pose ". The picture has received numerous delightful comments with some people even comparing the head of the Canadian government to Superman.

It is not the first time that Trudeau has impressed the public with his athletic talent, the newspaper wrote.

"Trudeau has worked as a trainer for snowboarding and bungee jumping. He rides a unicycle, canoes with his family and drives a dogsled in the snow," the article said.

According to the newspaper, Russian President Vladimir Putin now has a rival competing for the title of the most athletic politician.

"Now he has a competitor," Die Welt wrote.

The newspaper noted that Putin likes to appear before the cameras in good athletic shape to preserve his image as the world's most athletic politician.
