Shigeta Miura, a resident of Musashino City was arrested by Tokyo Metropolitan Police on suspicion of mailing various garbage to his former classmates, TV Asahi reported on November 30.
Between August 2015 and October 2016 Miura allegedly sent 70 envelopes containing weird items such as rotten tea leaves mixed with dirt and women's underwear.
According to the report, police suspect that in a year Miura sent a total of more than 500 packages to four people who were in the same Boy Scout troop with him in elementary school.
The man, who has been charged with public nuisance, admitted his guilt during interrogation, saying that he did it as revenge on these people.
“I did this because they bullied me at elementary school. They made me eat my lunches alone and stuff,” TBS News cites the suspect as saying.
