The final of Miss BumBum-2016 will be held in November in São Paulo. By that time, only 15 of the currently participating 27 girls will still be in with a shout to win the title. It will be up to the Internet users to decide who will stay in the final and who will leave.
Established in 2001 by journalist and entrepreneur Cacau Oliver, the Miss BumBum pageant has become an international sensation over the years. The "bum battle" lasts for four months annually; 27 contestants represent the country's different states. The winner receives 50,000 Brazilian Reals (US $22,000) and becomes a recognized celebrity. The title holder of Miss BumBum-2015 is Suzy Cortez, who made it to the Playboy Mexico cover in August and was named the "sex-muse of the Olympics 2016."
