WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Lavrov on Monday said the ceasefire, brokered by Russia, the United States and Jordan, would be monitored from a joint operations center based in the Jordanian capital of Amman.
"That is all still being worked out," Nauert said when asked to confirm remarks by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov about a deal to monitor the ceasefire.
"Mr. Lavrov likes to talk a lot and get out ahead, I think, of some of the negotiations that are underway," Nauret said.
The ceasefire in Syria’s southwest came into effect on Sunday at noon local time.
