The First as Tragedy, Then as Farce: Is Erdogan After New Crimean War?

The Crimean War was one of the most absurd conflicts in modern history, according to geopolitical expert F. William Engdahl; however, the escalating conflict being incited by Turkey’s would-be new Sultan, Recep Erdogan, by provoking Russia again and again, is more of a farce, he said, recalling Karl Marx’s remark on how tragedies repeat themselves.

“As if it weren’t enough to satisfy his macho by shooting down a Russian Su-24 fighter jet in Syrian airspace, an act of war by a NATO country, and murdering the Russian pilot, using his Turkish Grey Wolves terrorists, in violation of every precept of civilized nations, now the hot-headed Erdogan is openly stirring conflict in the Russian region of Crimea,” F. William Engdahl writes in his article for the magazine New Eastern Outlook.

The expert illustrates the above statement with the recent meeting of the Turkish leader with the “two organizers of the recent blockade actions against food and electricity that have been launched against the citizens of Russian Crimea.”

Another illustration is that Erdogan is also “sending the ultra-right-wing Turkish nationalist terrorist Grey Wolves into Ukraine to team up with Ankara-backed Crimean Muslim Tatar terrorists.”

The expert warns that “Erdogan’s ambitions are not modest. If he is mad enough to persist, as he seems so far to be, backed by Saudi and Qatari billions and his mad obsession with creating a new Ottoman Sultanate, he could detonate a new world war.”

That is, he stresses, “unless the more civilized world finally tires of his Monty Python-esque megalomania,” referring to the 1975 comedy classic “Monty Python and the Holy Grail”.

    F. William Engdahl then warned that, if unleashed, the new conflict will be more of a farce than a tragedy, referring to the first line of an essay Karl Marx wrote in 1852.

Describing France of the time of Napoleon III, Marx, referred respectively to Napoleon I and to his nephew Louis Napoleon (Napoleon III).

“Hegel remarks somewhere that all great world-historic facts and personages appear, so to speak, twice,” Marx wrote in his essay. “He forgot to add: the first time as tragedy, the second time as farce.”

    F. William Engdahl echoed his words, adding that “this third time, it is Erdoğan, not as Napoleon III, but as Monty Python and the Holy Grail.”

My bet is that Gollum wants to drive the Russians away from Syria, and in doing so he will attempt to lead the world to supposed precipice of another global war. Russia would be in that situation engaged more in the region closer to home and he is perhaps hoping that the Russians economy will weaken so that they cannot participate actively on a large scale in two wars forcing the Russians in such a way to pull their forces out of Syria. If this were to happen NATO would broker a deal just in time and would take the brownie points for preventing another war, and Saudis together with their coalition members and the USA (including Turkey) would secure Syria, and Iraq. Dangle the carot in Ukraine and grab the ME.

It is a farce, indeed. Gollum is an idiot.

What have the donmeh put in this turkic clowns baklava now? Just a couple of thousand Dragunovs and a few containers of Koronets, and even a 3m man army would not be able to hold the mountainous Kurdistan. Erdogan better come to his senses fast befor Russia makes that only $50m decision to bring 26m Kurds into play,a lot cheaper than it cost to contain erdogan now by itself.

When the megalomania of a subject is not supported by genius, and this is certainly the case of Erdogang, the predictable destiny is a bad, bad ending...

I would'not put it past the crazed neocons to put themselves at the disposal of Erdogan to reach his objectives.
Erdogan is undoubtedly one of the leaders Obama refered to, in his interview with comedian, Jerry Seinfeld, as being mentally unbalanced.

Nothing else could explain his behaviors.

Of course, a mentally ill leader who has the protections of NATO is very dangerous.

As the world and even the western corporate and state-controlled media wakes up to the fact that Turkey is THE terrorist supporting pariah state behind ISIS and Al Qaeda, Mullah Erdogan need any temporary distraction he can get. Even if he know that that an apology, even at this late stage, could take off some heat. Turks have a habit of demanding apologies for every minor event and from anyone but to give an apology and get one, and more so in the primitive neo-ottoman islamist regime under Mullah Erdogan, is equal to get butt-f*cked and is seen as a major humiliation.

The "Good-President-save-life-of-a-suicidal-youth story" failed miserably, the man turned out to be a staunch member of Erdogans jihadist party and the whole event staged. So Erdogan try other face saving measures from his certain political and very possible personal death, like visiting his wahhabi chop-chop pals in the gulf or indeed pissing off the Russians. Whatever he does, the days of his regime, the neo-ottomanism and himself is counted.

Erdogan will chew more than he can swallow. He have no idea what he will be messing with. But every dog may chose it's luck. Wait until Russia get serious. And get Ukraine a bite it won't believe.
Russia could begin by placing 25 to 50planes ready to create an air defense on the established lines. ANYTHING moving in gets blown. KIEV will JET to U.S. BUT , that's that with U.S using megaphones. And maybe some sanctions to keep Russia from commercially expand around the world.

When you study , bureaucracy you learn about this pigs. And how giving absolute power to one side always ends this way. U.S abused it's power with sanctions. Now the world MUST take over their lives and remove a pestilence.
