This gator knows it’s gotta keep moving!

On April 30, members at Bonita National Golf and Country Club in southern Florida had quite the uncommon guest on grounds: a three-legged alligator that hobbled onto the course at a slow, but deliberate pace.

The video, recorded by nearby resident Lori Greenberg, shows the alligator stop to sunbathe after seemingly struggling to go a few meters. Greenberg told Storyful that even with the reptile's slow pace, he managed to follow her to her home and "stared inside for hours."

Some may be startled by the reptile's presence, but YouTuber Paige expressed compassion for the creature, saying that although it "looks like a heavy struggle," the three-legged gator is "still going through."

It can be really slippery during the winter season, and, of course, people are not the only ones who suffer from that problem. It seems that our canine friends also lose their balance when they stay on ice - even though they have four legs to stand firm.
