    Beetle Causes Major Car Accident in Russia’s Sakhalin Region

    In Russia’s Sakhalin region a major car accident took place on Saturday; according to emergency services it was caused by a bug.

    According to a source in the region’s emergency services, “Several people were injured in a traffic accident on Saturday in the Nevelsk district. A female driver said that she felt an insect similar to a beetle crawling on her neck, she started fighting it off and lost control.”

    The 69-year-old driver received several bruises on her forehead and chest. 

    Her passengers however suffered more serious injuries. 

    A 38-year-old man who was sitting next to the driver fractured his ribs; a 34-year-old female passenger received closed abdominal trauma and a 10-year-old girl suffered fractured legs and broken teeth.
