Russia's Soyuz MS-02 spacecraft carrying two Russian cosmonauts and a US astronaut landed in Kazakhstan over three hours after undocking from the International Space Station (ISS), the Roscosmos space corporation said Monday.
"We have landing! Cosmonauts Andrei Borisenko, Sergei Ryzhikov and astronaut Shane Kimbrough have returned to Earth. Welcome!" Roscosmos said on Twitter.
The Soyuz MS-02 undocked from the ISS at 07:58 GMT. The spacecraft delivered Kimbrough, captain of Expedition 50, alongside Borsenko and Ryzhikov back to Earth after 173 days spent at the space station.
Expedition 51 captain and NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson assumed command of the ISS on Sunday.
