    The United States supports Islamabad in its probe into the deadly attack on the hospital in the Pakistani city of Quetta, US Ambassador to Pakistan David Hale stated in a press release on Monday.

    WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, the explosion took place at Quetta’s hospital shortly after the murder of former Balochistan Bar Association President Bilal Anwar Kasi, as his colleagues and journalists started arriving to the hospital where his body had been brought.

    "The United States stands with the government and people of Pakistan, and is committed to supporting them in the fight against terrorism," Hale stated. "We support Pakistan's efforts to bring to justice those behind the attack."

    The US ambassador also offered condolences to the victims of the attack and their families.

    According to the latest media reports, at least 60 people were killed in the Pakistani hospital attack.
