MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The representatives of the Russian Defense Ministry and US Department of Defense's (DoD) Prisoner of War/Missing in Action Accounting Agency (DPAA) held a meeting on Friday in the Russian Defense Ministry Central archive, the ministry said in a statement.
"A meeting of representatives of the Russian Defense Ministry and US Department of Defense's Prisoner of War/Missing in Action Accounting Agency (DPAA) was held in the Russian Defense Ministry Central archive. The US delegation was headed by Army Col. Chris Forbes, director of the Europe-Mediterranean regional directorate," the statement said.
The statement added that the servicemen of the two nations had discussed cooperation to define the destiny of the fallen and commemoration activities.
According to the statement, the representatives of the US DoD had also visited an exhibition dedicated to the Great Patriotic War.
