MOSCOW (Sputnik) – US-led coalition aircraft have carried out 73 military sorties and delivered 50 airstrikes in the Syrian provinces of Aleppo, Homs, Raqqa, and Hasakah in the last week, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said Monday.
“With the goal of dispelling various rumors and insinuations in the Western media, as we promised, we are giving generalized information on the aircraft operations in Syria of the so-called anti-Daesh coalition. Over the last week, the coalition’s aircraft carried out 73 military sorties and delivered 50 airstrikes against various targets in the provinces of Aleppo, Homs, Raqqa, and Hasakah,” Konashenkov said.

The spokesman added that he hoped the US-led coalition would itself shine light on their operations and report information to the public.
