WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The announcement comes following reports that Saudi Arabian King Salman could visit Moscow at the end of November to discuss defense and other contracts with Russia worth up to $10 billion.
"Orbital ATK plans to work in partnership with local Saudi industry to develop indigenous capabilities to preserve peace and maintain stability," the release stated.
Orbital ATK’s Defense Systems Group produces precision and strike weapons, advanced propulsion and hypersonics, missile components across air-, sea- and land-based systems, the release explained.
The company also produces ammunition and related energetic products.
