    Israeli Security Forces Kill Palestinian Teen in West Bank Clash

    Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) killed a 19-year-old Palestinian during clashes with a crowd of young people in the occupied West Bank district near the Ramallah city, local media reported Sunday.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) Ahmed Arimawi died in a hospital after being struck by a live bullet, the Haaretz newspaper reported citing the Palestinian Health Ministry.

    According to the newspaper, up to 50 Palestinians were involved in the clash, some of them threw stones at Israeli forces, who responded with shooting in the air and riot control measures.  As a result, one Israeli officer was injured.

    Clashes between the army and youths in the district have been ongoing over the past three days, the newspaper said.

    On November 10, Israeli forces injured four Palestinian students and detained two others, during the clashes that erupted after a march commemorating the 12th anniversary of the death of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat.
