“In Syria, Coalition military forces conducted eight strikes using attack and remotely piloted aircraft and rocket artillery against ISIL targets,” the release said. “Additionally in Iraq, Coalition military forces conducted 12 strikes coordinated with and in support of the Government of Iraq.”
The coalition airstrikes in Syria were launched near five locations of Abu Kamal, Raqqa, Deir ez-Zor, Idlib, and Mara, and destroyed an oil pump jack, seven vehicles, two Daesh oil well heads, an oil tanker trucks, two fighting positions, as well as a heavy machine gun.
The US-led coalition of more than 60 nations has been conducting airstrikes against the Daesh in Syria and Iraq since 2014. However, the strikes in Syria are not authorized by the legitimate government of President Bashar Assad or by the United Nations Security Council.
The Daesh is outlawed in the Unite States, the Russia and other countries.
