US Forces Kill Daesh 'Finance Minister', Two Leaders

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The United States neutralized three Islamic State leaders in late November, including the terrorist group’s alleged “financial minister,” Operation Inherent Resolve spokesperson Col. Steven Warren told reporters on Thursday.

“In Iraq, we recently conducted strikes against three leaders in ISIL’s [Islamic State or Daesh] financial and leadership network,” Warren said. “In late November, we killed Abu Salah, the ISIL Financial Minister.”
