The IS new venture, which has been promoted on twitter, will be airing alongside its Arabic and Russian-language bulletins. The first release gave an overview of the group’s activities in Iraq, Libya, and Syria, including the alleged death of an IS commander in the Yarmouk refugee camp in Damascus.
IS controls territory in Iraq and Syria and has recently become more active in Libya. The group also has a monthly online English-language magazine called Dabiq that includes reports on its activities as well as religious lessons.
