    The evacuation started at 5 a.m. local time, with the mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, the regional prefect Michel Cadot, the police prefect Didier Lallement, present at the site of events. The police had to cordon off the area and warned drivers about possible traffic disruptions.

    Several hundred police officers are engaged in evacuating a migrant camp at the Porte de la Chapelle in Paris. The facility, located in the French capital hosts from 600 to 1,200 individuals, but there is no official information about the precise number of migrants at the moment.
