The Sejm, the lower house of the Polish parliament, canceled limitations on the access of journalists to the buildings of the Sejm, according to official statement.

WARSAW (Sputnik) — The Sejm, the lower house of the Polish parliament, has canceled all limitations on the work of journalists in the parliament building, it said on Tuesday.

"From today on the recently introduced limitations on the access of journalists to the buildings of the Sejm cease to function. The rules of organization of work and movement of journalists in the buildings do not change as well," the statement published on the official website of the Sejm said.

Polish President Duda Says Parliament Scraps Plan to Limit Media Access
Polish opposition has been boycotting the work of the Sejm since Friday after the parliament announced its plans to restrict the work of journalists in the Sejm. Despite the boycott the Sejm on Monday had enough members to meet the constitutional quorum and approved a number of bills, including the draft budget for 2017. The opposition considers the results of the vote illegitimate, demands to hold a second meeting and calls for resignation of the Sejm’s speaker Marek Kuchcinski.
