Europe to Act Indirectly to Restore Democracy in Poland - Opposition Member
WARSAW (Sputnik) — The members of Polish opposition parties have been staging sit-in protests in Sejm since Friday due to the intention of the lower house to impose new media restrictions that would allow only a limited number of TV stations in Poland to record parliamentary sessions next year.

"I talked to [Polish Senate] Speaker Mr. Stanislaw Karczewski in the morning and asked… to abandon all preliminary provisions of the draft bill. There are no any preliminary provisions… I want to stress one thing — these were the preliminary provisions of the draft, but it was not the draft of the speaker's order," Duda said in a televised interview.
