MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The former Morgan Stanley IT developer who also happens to be a crystal meth addict, was found guilty after the court considered the case for more than 30 hours, the Independent newspaper reported.
Brizzi has reportedly told the court that he had met his victim, 59 years old Gordon Semple from Greenhithe in Kent, on a gay dating app and arranged a meeting with him at Brizzi's apartment in London on April 1.
The defendant said that Semple died during a bondage sex-game when a dog leash he was wearing around his neck slipped, however an expert concluded that even though strangulation was a possible cause of death, it was highly unlikely to happen in a matter of moments and it would have taken minutes for it to occur.
Police came to the apartment after receiving complaints from Brizzi's neighbors about very bad odors coming out of his apartment, and upon arrival saw pieces of flesh in his tub, bags containing bones and a par of the deceased head in addition to human fat in the oven.
They also found a mask and dog leash with Semple's DNA on it as well as a copy of the Satanic Bible. Brizzi later admitted that he has killed Semple's and tried to dissolve him because Satan has told him so.
The court will be expected to sentence Brizzi on December 9.
