Paris Metro Line Suspended for Three Hours Over Hoax Bomb Alert
GENEVA (Sputnik) — The 41-year old French mother of four phoned the airport on July 26, claiming there was a person with a bomb moving toward the French sector of the airport.

The woman was fined for wasting time of 145 police officers and border guards who had to patrol the airport and carry out checks following the phone call, Le Matin daily said, adding that the sum covers the operation.

Late in July, a court in the French city of Annecy, where the woman lives, decided to imprison her for six months, three months suspended, over the hoax.

Appearing before the court, the woman explained that she caused the security alert as an act of  revenge against her husband and his alleged mistress who planned to leave Geneva for holidays.
