WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Americans in Munich should shelter in place and follow local police instructions after reported shooting at a shopping mall in the city, the US Consulate in Munich said via Twitter on Friday.
"We strongly advise all to shelter in place," the Consulate tweeted. "Munich police are reporting multiple shooting incidents in the city."

German police said earlier that several shootings took place across the city, but they do not have an exact number of people killed or injured yet.
German NTV said Bavarian interior ministry confirmed three people are dead as a result of the shooting at the Munich shopping center.
