The United Kingdom and France have agreed to increase counterterrorism cooperation after the deadly Paris terrorist attacks, British Prime Minister David Cameron said Monday.

MOSCOW  (Sputnik) — The United Kingdom and France have agreed to increase counterterrorism cooperation after the deadly Paris terrorist attacks, British Prime Minister David Cameron said Monday.

"Today, we've agreed to step up our effort even further and work more closely with our European neighbors, in particular we must do more to tackle the threat of returning foreign fighters," Cameron said during the meeting with French President Francois Holland.

According to the British prime minister, the United Kingdom will do everything to support France to defeat terrorism.

Earlier in the day, Cameron together with the French leader paid tribute to victims of the November 13 attacks in the French capital, in which 130 people were killed and over 360 were injured, many critically.
