    China was Germany's top trading market in 2016, local media reported Sunday, citing the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK).

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the DIHK, the United States became the third largest trading partner of Germany, while France continued to hold the second position.

    China was considered to be Germany's largest trading market in Asia, before becoming its top trading partner.

    China reportedly took the leading position for the first time.
