    Thirty-nine companies will represent Russia during the China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair in October.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — A total of 39 Russian companies will take part in the China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (CISMEF) in October, the Russian Trade Mission in China said in a statement on Wednesday.

    "Aiming at expansion of Russia's non-commodity exports and export capacity of small and medium-sized Russian enterprises, the decision has been taken to organize a business mission of 39 Russian companies as part of CISMEF," the statement read.

    CISMEF-2016 organized by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will be held in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province on October 10-13. It is expected to involve nearly 3,000 exhibitors from 31 Chinese provinces and over 20 foreign countries.

    The fair has been held on an annual basis since 2004.
