North Korea launched four short-range missiles into the West Sea a day after test firing another short-range projectile from the same site, as the United States and South Korea conduct annual military drills, launched last month.
Kim Jong-Un is rumored to have supervised the launch on Friday, according to a spokesman for the South Korean joint chiefs of staff.
The exact model of the missiles fired in the last two days is unknown. They are believed to have a range of approximately 140 kilometers (87 miles).
