Charly, who performs in a circus currently on tour in Coburg, caused quite a stir among the city's residents.
After running through the streets, the animal finished his morning walk right in the heart of the city and settled next to a police car.

How the animal made it over the fence of the circus, remains a mystery.
Charly is one of three other sea lions at a circus, which is currently on tour across Germany. His tamer described him as an early riser. After having been contacted by police, he brought Charly safely back home.
