First Deadly Ebola Virus Patient in Honduras Taken to Hospital
Ten clinicians from a nonprofit organization responding to the Ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone will be transported back the US after one of their colleagues was infected with the deadly virus.

The medical workers will be evacuated on a non-commercial aircraft and isolated in an Ebola treatment facility, according to a statement by Partners in Health.

On March 11, a Partners in Health worker tested positive for Ebola.

According to the statement, the other 10 show no signs of Ebola. They will be isolated in a US Ebola treatment facility to ensure access to testing and treatment if they develop any symptoms of the disease.

According to the World Health Organization, the Ebola outbreak has killed more than 10,000 people, mostly in the West African nations of Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone.
