WATCH: Most Shocking Moments of French Police Clashing With Protesters in Paris
18:59 GMT 10.10.2017 (Updated: 19:31 GMT 19.10.2022) A peaceful march against French President Macron's proposed labor reform in Paris on Tuesday grew violent. Sputnik has collected the videos of the clashes between the police and protesters in the French capital.
One of the videos shows shattered shop windows in Paris and police using tear gas against a group of demonstrators who were hiding their faces with masks.
Another video depicts police officers dragging a protester holding a flag across the street during the arrest. It also shows a detained man with a bleeding head being apprehended by two police officers.
France has been engulfed in turmoil over the upcoming a labor reform. French trade unions are worried that it will deprive workers of their rights because it will be easier for enterprises to fire their employees under the new labor code.
