WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The United States and Saudi Arabia have discussed ways to address potential negative consequences of the 9/11 law, which allows Americans to sue foreign governments believed to sponsor or participate in terrorism, US Secretary of State John Kerry said after a meeting with his Saudi counterpart Adel al-Jubeir on Thursday.
"We discussed ways to try to fix this in a way that respects and honors the needs and right of victims… but at the same time does not expose American troops and American partners… who may be involved in another country," Kerry stated.
