BEIJING (Sputnik) — The fair is taking place on October 20-21. It coincides with the Russian-Chinese investment forum called "Moscow-Beijing. Two Countries — one business."
The opening ceremony was attended by Chinese Vice-Premier Wang Yang and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yury Trutnev.
Trutnev, in turn, pointed out that Chinese investors were the first among international investors in Russia.
According to Director of Outbound Negotiation Office of China Overseas Development Association (CODA) He Zhenwei, the event will focus on cooperation in the field of production facilities and the implementation the new Silk Road Economic Belt.
Up to 6,000 participants from over 80 countries and regions are expected at the fair.
In 2015, representatives from 113 countries attended the event, with 2,500 investment projects worth $3.8 billion concluded.
