WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The Republican Party presidential nominee Donald Trump remains statistically ahead of his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton for the fourth week in a row, a Rasmussen Reports poll revealed on Thursday.
"Our… survey of likely US voters finds Trump with 43 percent support, while Clinton earns 42 percent," a press release about the poll stated. "This is the fourth week in a row that Trump has been statistically ahead."
However, the release noted Clinton has bounced back from her worst numbers against Trump one week ago, when he was ahead 44-37 percent.
The poll was taken on Monday and Tuesday of this week, so it does not reflect whether Trump will get a bump from this week’s Republican National Convention held in Cleveland, Ohio.
The poll has a margin of error of three percentage points.
