The report added that the shift in the activities could be described by the political and military reforms in China, as well as activities of the US government to cope with China's cyberattacks.

According to the FireEye, the company has reviewed the activity of China's 72 groups suspected of conducting hacking activities against targets in the United States and 25 other countries.
