Alliance of Small Island States Welcomes Draft Climate Deal
PARIS (Sputnik) – Nearly 200 countries have agreed to curb emissions beyond 2020 and fuel the transition toward a clean energy world economy, COP21 host and French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said Saturday.

"I now invite the COP [Conference of Parties] to adopt the document the Paris Agreement, I see no objections, the Paris agreement is adopted," Fabius said ahead of banging his gavel to mark the end of the two-week talks.
