Drug traffickers have reached new heights.

In a failed attempt to outsmart the law, a drone carrying methamphetamine crashed in a parking lot near the U.S./Mexico on Tuesday.

The unmanned aircraft had more than 6 pounds of crystal meth in six packages taped to it when it fell from the sky near the border crossing city of San Ysidro, reported NBC7.
