Kazakh President Accepts Cabinet Resignation
13:47 GMT 21.02.2019 (Updated: 14:14 GMT 21.02.2019) ALMATY (Kazakhstan) (Sputnik) - Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev accepted on Thursday the resignation of the country's government, according to the text of the relevant decree.
"In accordance with Article 70 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan I decide: to accept the resignation of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Temporarily entrust the responsibilities of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mamin Askar Uzakpaevich," decree circulated by the president's press service says.

According to the decree, the members of the current Cabinet will continue performing their duties until the new government is approved.
Nazarbayev earlier criticized the work of the current Cabinet over its failure to improve living standards of the Kazakh citizens.
