A new video of Russian ambassador Andrei Karlov’s assassination in Ankara has recently surfaced on social media.

The video, apparently filmed less than a minute before the assassination, clearly shows how Karlov’s killer lurks behind the ambassador’s back while the latter delivers his speech, before suddenly raising his arm and firing his gun directly at the Ambassador's back.

On Monday, December 19, Russian ambassador to Turkey Andrei Karlov was shot dead by Turkish police officer Mevlut Mert Altintas at an art gallery exhibition opening in Ankara. Three other people were also injured in the attack. The Russian Foreign Ministry said it considers the attack a terrorist act.
