"As far as the dialogue on anti-terrorism is concerned, yes, such dialogue is ongoing, we are expecting to hold the next round approximately in November in Moscow," Chizhov said via a video linkup from Brussels.
According to Chizhov, Russia will be represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov at these consultations.
In July, Chizhov said that the European Union should focus on coordinating the joint fight against terrorism with Russia instead of paying attention to "some artificial, fantastical threats such as the threat of hybrid warfare from Russia."
Since 2014, relations between Russia and the European Union deteriorated amid the crisis in Ukraine. Brussels, Washington and their allies have introduced several rounds of anti-Russia sanctions over Moscow's alleged involvement in the Ukrainian conflict, which the Kremlin has denied.
